Austpac Group

Our Company

Austpac Funds Management operates to a clear and simple principle. The financial success of our funds, and the personal success of our people, are directly connected to the financial benefits that we generate for our investors. We believe that this connection is not only the fair and right thing to do, but that it will bring about greater rewards for everyone involved: our investors, the communities with which we are involved, and ourselves.

our model

The model we have created is transparent to all our investors. We charge a modest annual management fee to cover our costs. This is calculated on the net value of the assets we manage, not on an inflated value that includes borrowed funds. We do not charge any other fees. Performance hurdles are set based on achieving a tough but fair internal rate of return (IRR) and a fair division of profits with our investors. We only take our share when we have exceeded those performance hurdles, the assets are sold and converted to real – not paper – profits, and our investors have received their money.

your investments

The investments we make are in large scale developments;projects to which we put our name and over which we have considerable influenceand control. As the Austpac group of companies continues to grow, new investment funds will be launched across property in mixed use urban developments, healthcare, childcare, retirement, leisure, retail, residential, commercial, self storage hubs and car parking.

your choice

Our philosophy is that we should manage assets because our investors want us to, not because we lock people into a contract. If we do not deliver on our promises, our investors have the right to replace us. Naturally, a big part of those promises is based on our financial performance. Beyond that measure, we also expect to be judged by how well we engage with, and look after, our investors, how well we respond to their needs and provide services that treat people not as a line on a spreadsheet but as valued members of the Austpac family.
